Biography

Zinkpè is a contemporary Beninese artist. He took his first steps on the art scene in various workshops and residences throughout Africa and Europe. His work rapidly started to attract attention and earned him the Young Talent Award in 1993. It now features regularly in major international artistic events. In 2002 he was awarded the UEMOA Prize during the Dakar Biennale for his installation entitled Malgré tout !
